Journey wins her first Specialty Best Of Breed

Who knew this puppy would live up to her name? An incredible Journey it has been. At practically her 1st show she was WB for her 1st Specialty 5 pt major in an entry of 80 from the 6-9 month puppy class the day before the ESSFTA National in OH. She also won the 6-9 Sweepstakes class at the ESSFTA National & the Lake Erie host Specialty. She came home and won her 1st Puppy Sporting Group and has not slowed down since! Journey won her 1st Best in Sweepstakes at the Michigan Specialty in Sept 2005 and topped that by going WB/BOW for her second Specialty 5 pt major at the tender age of 12 months. Showing next at American Spaniel Club, we captured a Sweepstakes class win and most memorably the Bred By Class, quite an accomplishment. She next went on to finish her Championship with her 3rd 5 point Specialty major at the Garden State Specialty over Memorial Day weekend in NJ.

Shown selectively, Journey has three times made it to the final lineups of dogs at the largest specialty in the country and the ESSFTA National. It is our hope she will enjoy a wonderfully rewarding veteran's career and finally earn that oh so coveted AOM!

I am so thankful for this wonderful girl who is a breeder's dream come true. Journey was Breeder/Owner/Handled to all her points and will continue to be selectively shown. Thanks to all appreciated and complimented her type & overall quality. She is an absolute doll and I couldn't be prouder of her. Journey has proven herself an outstanding mother and producer. Her daughter Promise, Ch. Chivalry's Promise Me Magic (sired by Stanley) finished magically in a handful of shows from the Bred By class with 4 majors. We are excited about her youngest daughters, Dreamer, Chivalry's Enchanted Dreams and Taylor, Springwest Chivalry's Our Song both sired by (Ch. Springwest Silver Wings) who will hit the show scene soon. Our Journey is sure to continue...
